We offer table service at dinner from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm, our menu includes various delicious dishes. Flavours of the land and sea of Ischia are available: Our refined kitchen provides the best of traditional Ischian and regional Campania cuisine. We offer two meal options:
Option A – Choice of 2 plates + dessert (20€ per person)
Option B – Choice of 3 plates + dessert (25€ per person)
In the evenings you can expect romantic dinners by candlelight, live music, and events that celebrate the Ischian folklore.
On Fridays, we offer a Grand Buffet, colourful and delicious, to offer you a moment to savour and relax in a festive atmosphere. The Chef and Maître D’ prepare a delicious and delicate offering accompanied by pleasant, lively service.
The dining room is air conditioned and comfortable. We kindly remind our guests that full length pants are required to dine at Restaurant ‘Il Gusto’.
Giovan Giuseppe D'Acunto
We would like to welcome Executive Chef Giovan Giuseppe D’Acunto to the Hotel Solemar Terme Beach & Beauty.
Giovan Giuseppe D’Acunto was born in Ischia in 1968 with an innate love for the kitchen. He has embodied traditional island cuisine, while also infusing it with foreign influence and creativity, and without forgetting to incorporate his experience of Italian and international fine dining.
D’Acunto has lived a culinary existence, his passion growing with him. He spent his youth among essences and perfumes that would define his profession, propelling him through 30 years of experience in the luxury hotel industry. Giovan Giuseppe’s harmony with the kitchen and his exceptional abilities have brought him far.
He has participated in many regional, national, and international competitions, and has proved his skills in butter sculptures, hot and cold dishes, artistic cuisine, and vegetable carving. He has won a variety of awards: Nine silver medals, one platinum medal, one gold medal, and sixteen bronze medals.
During these years, he also spent some time in Switzerland, to further refine his knowledge of world class restaurants, while contributing to the diffusion of Mediterranean and Ischian cuisine.
